New Editor Named for Architectural Digest
By TANZINA VEGA
Margaret Russell will succeed Paige Rense as editor-in-chief of Architectural Digest, Condé Nast announced on Thursday. Ms. Russell was previously vice president and editor-in-chief of brand content at Elle Decor. She will step into her new digs in early September. Ms. Rense joined Architectural Digest in 1970 as an associate editor and was named editor-in-chief shortly thereafter.
Really?? Why is everyone moving around? I do agree that so far, Stephen Drucker has done well with livening up Town & Country and Architectural Digest needs desperately needs a complete overhaul. Hopefully it will all work out for the best, and Magazines in print will be "in" again!! Wonder who will be going to Elle Decor now??
(ugh)
Margaret Russell (seriously, does she ever wear anything besides a sleeveless little black dress?? It drives me nuts!!)
